We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God
We believe that God is the creator of the universe creating both of the seen (Physical) and the unseen (Spiritual) realms and that God the creator is also the giver of life.
Isaiah 43 v10-13; Isaiah 44 v 24; 1 Corinthians 8 v 4-6
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
God The Father – We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1 v 7, Psalms 90 v 1-2
The Son – We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, and making atonement for the sin of the world by His shed blood and death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and His high priestly intercession for His people.
We believe Jesus physically rose from the dead, was seen by and interacted with many eyewitnesses including the Disciples and Apostles and that Jesus has now ascended into Heaven where He originally came from. Jesus is currently seated Majesty, Power, and Authority alongside the Father and He is now accessible to us in both Prayer and Fellowship.
We believe in His personal, visible and triumphant return to the world according to His promise.
Matthew 1 v 18-25; John 1 v 14; John 14 v 6; John 1 v 29; 1 John 2 v 1-2; John 14 v 3; 1 Thessalonians 4 v 13-18; Acts 1 v 11
The Holy Spirit – We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, to convince the world of righteousness, and of judgement, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ.
John 15 v 26; John 16 v 7-11; Romans 6 v 3-6; 1 Corinthians 12 v 13; 2 Thessalonians 2 v 13;
1 Peter 1 v 2-3
Man - We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are sinners by nature and by choice.
Genesis 1 v 27; Genesis 2 v 15-17; Genesis 3 v 6-7, 16-19; Romans 3 v 10-12, 23
Salvation – We believe that, God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3 v 16
We believe that all who receive, by faith Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord are born again of the Holy Spirit and, therefore, become children of God. We believe that justification means that a person is declared righteous in the sight of God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
John 1 v 12 Romans 3 v 21-26; Ephesians 1 v 13; Ephesians 2 v 8-10
The Church – We believe in the Church, it’s a living spiritual body in which Christ is the Head and of which all regenerated people are members. We believe that a visible church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, buried with Him in baptism and associated for the purpose of leading believers toward maturity through worship, instruction, fellowship and evangelism. We believe that Christ has committed to the local church, the ordinances of Baptism and Communion to be observed until He comes and that Christ has committed to the church the responsibility to proclaim to a lost world their need to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and to recognise Him has Lord. We believe that human betterment and social improvement are essential products of the Gospel.
Ephesians 1 v 22-23; Romans 6 v 3-5; Matthew 28 v 19-20; 1 Corinthians 11 v 23-26; John 8 v 31-32
We believe in the gift of Tongues as on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the manifestation of spiritual gifts among the believers.
Acts 1 v 1-4; 1 Corinthians 14 v 1-2; 1 Corinthians 12 v 1-11
We believe in the Five Fold Ministry; Jesus Himself gave gifts to men/women to be Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers.
Ephesians 4 v 7-16
We believe there is a real “Heaven” and a real “Hell” and where we spend our eternity is determined by which one we choose while we’re alive. There are no second chances after “Death”
